Attachment Options for Your Wedding Veil
Currently we offer 4 different types of combs that you may choose to have your custom wedding veil attached to. We highly suggest talking it over with your hairstylist, as sometimes they have a preference of what may work best with your hairstyle.

Wedding Veil sewn to a 3" clear plastic comb. This side rests against your head. |
- The 3" clear plastic comb is included in the base price of every custom wedding veil.
- The 3" plastic comb is a basic comb that is suitable for most wedding veil styles, and hair types.
- The teeth of the plastic comb are a little bit closer together than the metal combs, so for very fine hair this may "grip" the hair a bit more.
- The comb is hand-sewn on to the wedding veil, except for the drop veils and mantillas with NO gathering -- these are attached with a clear adhesive as shown below.
If you'd like to order a single layer wedding veil that has custom cut fullness at the comb that is less than 54", we strongly suggest a metal comb. A metal comb is required for veils that have custom cut fullness less than 20" at the comb. Or if you'd like a veil that is 3 layer extra full- we strongly suggest a little bit longer comb - such as the 4.5" metal also.

3.25" Metal Comb

- The 3.25" metal comb is our most popular choice. It is suitable for all styles of wedding veils.
- If you plan to remove your veil at any point, the metal comb will slide out nicely without disturbing your hair much.
- Highly recommended for veils that are extra sheer at the top.
- Selecting this comb is an additional $5.00.
- If you'd like this comb type for a veil with no gathering - a mantilla or drop veil - the comb would be wrapped in tulle and then handsewn to the veil. Examples are below.

4.5" Metal Comb

4.5" metal comb handsewn to custom wedding veil. This side would rest against your head. |
- The 4.5" metal comb is suitable for all veil types.
- We love this comb on wedding veils that you'd like to be very sheer at the top. The extra bit of length really spreads the gathers out nicely.
- It can also be bent slightly to curve around your head or hairstyle. **The comb is only 4.5" long when completely flat. You'll want it to curve around the shape of your head, so in this way it's approx 4" wide.
- Selecting this comb is an additional $6.00.

5.25" Metal Comb

- The 5.25" metal comb is suitable for all custom wedding veil types.
- This comb works beautifully worn right on top of the head.
- It can be bent to curve around the shape of your head and really spreads the gathers of the veil out to cover your whole head.
- Is gorgeous with fuller veils!
